URBAN REGENERATION OF THEATROU SQUARE (HONORABLE MENTION IN ARCHITECTURAL COMPETITION)

The whole project resembles a woven carpet which is "torn up" by the attraction of three main factors:

• The building of the Faculty Diplareiou that generates pressures of gravity, while
• The junctions with adjacent roads create traffic flows and
• Finally, the revelation of the underlying ancient walls as a particular tear, as a surgical incision.

In that way, a woven green carpet is formed as the new urban configuration.
