GSEE’s MONUMENTAL BUILDING
The project concerns the refurbishment, the unification, layout to GSEE’ s monumental building in Athens, comprising a total area of 2,880m2 and a volume of 13,262m3. Being one of the most important buildings in Athens, the building houses the Administration Offices of the General Confederation of Greek Labour (GSEE), the Museum of Workers’ Struggles, as well as an Amphitheatre. Apart from the composite construction, electrical and mechanical works included in the restoration of the Architectural Monument, the project also includes novel interventions of high technology (automations, electronics, informatics), which transformed the Monumental Building into a modern “intelligent” building.
Our Organisation in co-operation with other firms has provided the following services for the specific project:
- Project management
- Preparation of the Tender Document
- Design Management and Control
- Scheduling and Cost control
- Organisation of the Temporary and Final Commissioning of the Project
- Support in securing financing.
The project is delivered in complete and operational condition with all the abovementioned rendered services, that is to say, in addition to construction it includes the complete equipment of individual areas (general and special electrical and mechanical equipment, furniture, signs etc). Our Organisation also provides administrative support for the maintenance of the areas and equipment.
